Half-Life Headhumpers in D&D
EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW GAMING’S MOST FAMOUS PARASITE [Nerdist]
"VavleTime forum member DarkSide55 has spent an incredible amount of time answering these questions. In a free document entitled “Everything You Wanted to Know About Headcrabs,” he outlines the biology, anatomy, and zombification techniques of all known Half-Life headcrabs. And although many of DarkSide55’s answers are based on fan theories, there is actually quite a bit of good science to them:"
One of the grandest D&D campaign ideas I have is doing a total conversion of the sci-fi Half-Life world into a fantasy realm. I think the whole City 17 aspect of Half-Life 2, in particular, would make for an excellent urban fantasy setting. The linked article looks to be full of good info that could be put to use for such an endeavor.

Beautiful D&D Maps Recount Days of Adventure
Ahh, the memories. And now this beautiful art to match.
Owlbears, Rust Monsters, and Bulettes, OH MY!
You see, during that time that I was playing with these “Prehistoric Animals”, somebody else was playing with them too – a fellow named Gary Gygax. Gary was using them for a game he was developing called Dungeons & Dragons and his book, the Monster Manual, contained pen & ink renditions of these creatures within its pages.
